Hello Dear,
Hurray! It’s another beautiful Year! I’m grateful to God for the gift of life and excited to start this new year with you.
This month, we’re exploring the virtue of Self-Control. It’s the foundation of being a leader of yourself and your emotions. Self-control helps you think clearly, act wisely, and become the best version of yourself.
Remember Saint Josemaría Escrivá’s wise words: “You should always have a great respect for each thing, but if you want to achieve control over your senses and appetites, you will have to mortify them, or you will never be a leader of yourself.”
Practising self-control might not always be easy, but with persistence and practice, you’ll achieve more and feel more confident. True strength lies in mastering yourself first.
I wish you a beautiful year and a fulfilling term ahead. Let’s work together to develop this essential virtue!
Best regards,
Ms. Doreen

Hello,
It’s Christmas in the air! A season we look out for. In this month, we will be spotlighting the virtue of “Generosity”. It is more than the act of giving material things and when we put it into practice, it is an affirmation of the dignity of the human person—an acknowledgement of the inherent worth and value of individuals. it is also a mindset of selflessness, a readiness to share time, talents, and compassion with others.
Generosity, rooted in love and sacrifice, is a meaningful way to honour the dignity of those around us.
In today’s world, cultivating generosity is essential to building a caring and harmonious community.
Through acts of kindness, generosity brings joy to the giver and the receiver alike.
Remember that generosity is a powerful way to spread love and joy. It doesn’t require wealth or grand gestures—only a willing heart. Saint Josemaría also said, “Be generous in your prayer, in your sacrifice, and in your deeds. Love is deeds, not sweet words.”
Challenge yourself to live generously, not only in this month but always. Each act of giving no matter how small reflects your understanding of the dignity of others and your commitment to making the world a better place. Be the change you want to see!
Let’s embrace the spirit of generosity, knowing that through it, we grow closer to God and one another.
Happy new month and merry Christmas in advance!
Warm regards,
Doreen Onyekwelu
