June 2026
Dear Students,
Happy New Month!
This June, we will be reflecting on the beautiful virtue of optimism—learning to look for the good, even on the days when things don’t go as planned. Optimism doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect. It means trusting that things can improve, and that every experience, good or tough, has something valuable to teach you.
I know there are moments when you feel disappointed—maybe a test didn’t go well, or a plan didn’t work out. In those moments, optimism is what helps you take a deep breath, stand up, and try again. It’s the mindset that says, “This isn’t the end of my story,” and it’s rooted in faith, trust, and the belief that growth can come from every situation.
As Saint Josemaría Escrivá reminds us: “Don’t be a pessimist. Don’t you realise that all that happens or can happen is for the best? Your optimism will be a necessary consequence of your faith.” (The Way, no. 378)
This month, I challenge you to speak kindly to yourselves, focus on what you can learn, and believe in your ability to grow. Remember: with optimism, even setbacks can become stepping stones.

Happy New Month.
This month, we’re focusing on the virtue of integrity — the courage to choose what is right, even when it’s hard or when no one is watching. Integrity means being honest, keeping your word, and staying true to your values. As Scripture says: “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely.”— Proverbs 10:9
In a world full of shortcuts, integrity is what makes you stand out. You show it in small, daily choices: how you act in class, how you treat your friends, and how you approach your studies.
So as you go through this month, let integrity guide you. True strength is doing what is right, simply because it’s right.

Modesty is about knowing your worth, dressing smartly, speaking kindly, and relating with others in a way that’s real.
In a world that’s so focused on getting noticed, modesty reminds us that true confidence comes from within. As Saint Josemaría Escrivá says, “Decorum and modesty are younger brothers of purity” (The Way, no. 128). When you choose modesty, you’re letting your awesome character shine through – and that’s what truly makes you beautiful.
So, let modesty guide your choices this month. True beauty is reflected in your values, your kindness, and the respect you show yourself and others.

Happy new month! March is here, and we’re focusing on something beautiful: Contentment. It’s not about getting everything you want, but about trusting God’s plan and finding joy in doing His will.
St. Josemaría Escrivá reminds us, “My food is to do His will” (The Way 766). True happiness comes from choosing obedience, responsibility, and faithfulness – even when it’s tough.
Contentment isn’t about giving up on dreams; it’s about being grateful for where you are while working towards where you’re going. Let’s grow in trust, gratitude, and quiet confidence this month, knowing God’s will is enough.

Dear Students,
Happy new month! Welcome to another month of learning, growth, and new opportunities.
Our Virtue of the Month is Sportsmanship. It’s more than just winning; it’s about how you play, how you treat others, and how you respond to every outcome. This virtue teaches us respect, discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and fairness.
St. Josemaría Escrivá beautifully compares growing in virtue to playing a sport:
“The ascetical struggle… is a sport. A good sportsman doesn’t fight to gain just one victory… He has to build himself up for it, training over a long period of time, calmly and confidently. He keeps trying again and again… until the obstacle is overcome.” — The Forge, point 169
As we approach our Annual Inter-House Sports Competition, I encourage you to live out this virtue. Remember, true victory is found in your effort, character, and good conduct.
Enjoy the games, participate enthusiastically, and let your actions reflect the values you embody as students of our school.
